Who is Thimbletack?
Thimbletack is the name of the house hold brownie who watches over Author Spiderwicks house and work shop, he also is the guardian of the field guide, a book that tells in great detail about the whole world of fantastical creatures from fairies and goblins to sprites and hobgoblins, and it is also the name I chose to use when posting to E-how, as a creative way to post tutorial's, I've used their wonderful widget, not only does it save time in having to repeat posts on various sites I belong to, it keeps them nicely organized, so when you see or read an article/tutorial listed under the name Thimbletack on blogger, my space or youtube, or E-how it is more than likely me, I don't suppose any one else has chosen that name on any of these sites, but if they have, it will be without the E-how widget, as I have already taken that alias, the reason for me telling you all this is because of a similar situation where my name was used to open a face book account, I have not in the past nor to date have signed up for their services, who knows I might would choose to do that but I found out through a Friend that they saw my name and picture on this site, hmmm how strange as I don't recall authorizing any one to do so, any way, no big deal, just a bit confusing is all. Back to my original thought, this tutorial I've posted is very fun to make and easy and affordable, plus the finished pendant is just lovely, i hope you'll take a moment and read it and then get busy making your own pendant. I'd be very interested in seeing any and all finished pendants you all out in blogger land come up with, just thought it would be fun, leave a comment as to what you all think? I'll post a few other pictures i have as well as my completed pendants and i may even post a tutorial on how to make this same size and style pendant done in paper mache, these need no baking so are very child friendly.
